MAKE FABRIC COVERED MAT BOARD PHOTO FRAMES!
This is a no sew project, in fact, you just cover cut out mat board or cardboard parts with fabric!
All you need is:
-fabric
-mat board or cardboard, to make 4 parts of the frame, to cover with fabric, front and back
-a length of ribbon for each frame size, 9" long, width depending on size of frame, from 3/8" wide to 1 1/2" wide
-50 page pack of acid free, clear, sheet protector pages for protective photo sleeves, cut to size of photo
ALL of the supplies, materials, & tools can be bought at a fabric, quilt, art supply, or craft store - some at the office supply store - stores like JoAnn Fabric, Michaels, AC Moore, Hancock Fabrics, Staples, Lowes, Home Depot, even Walmart & Target!
Below are 6 pages of photo & text, step by step instructions to make these frames

4 parts:

U SHAPED PIECE BOARD- sandwiched between FFB and EB, to allow photo to easily slide in and out of pocket opening
EB - easel back board, back of frame, has strut leg board attached to it
STRUT LEG - 2 part board, top and bottom with center strip cut out, fabric on both sides, with Thermoweb Heat n Bond Ultrahold, and acid free fabric adhesive, paper backed, ironed onto back of fabric panel facing in, fused together front and back side of covered strut leg board, ironed at center cut out area, to make a "hinge" for strut leg to pitch out, allowing for frame to stand on table or shelf
